An old game with some new cards
This game is very similar to Tag Force 2 with the option of starting out with a few different partners and progressing through the very text-heavy storyline. Animations or clips would have conveyed the story better but Konami took a short cut once more.The gameplay is the same with a lot more new cards but the beginning of the game can be completely overwhelming. There is no greater sense of being underpowered than when your opponent summons 1 or more creatures with over 2000 attack in their first round while you are struggling with some very basic creatures. The fact that almost every enemy seems to have monster reborn in their deck (and this same card is well neigh impossible for you to get in the first 50 levels of your character or so) makes it seem like every deck is stacked against you.Most of your opponent teams have decks that compliment one another in ways that are so vicious that your teamwork better be the same. Zane Truesdale: BEST DUELIST EVER!
Whether you call him Zane or Ryo, this duelist is the best of the best. You know what, I get it: this volume is mainly about Jay and Sy (Judai and Sho to lovers of the Japanese), but I don't care. Zane rules the school; big time. Lovers of the Japanese version know Zane as "Kaiser," or emperor in other words, and boy, does he live up to his name! Given his first moment of glory in this volume, the champ shows his stuff in a big-time match against our clueless but lucky hero, who challenged the big man on campus in an attempt to raise the confidence of Zane's little bro: Syrus! Too bad for Jay, the Kaiser proved to be WAY to much for him to handle, and he gets flattened in a matter of three turns. One of the funniest parts of this was Sy's announcement, "At least I got the looks," which, by the way, he did not. So if you're looking for a duelist who can REALLY play the game, keep your eye out for Zane Truesdale, the king of Obelisk; not to mention the whole Academy...

Its Only Season One
Well, first off, this is the second volume of season one, not the second season. The third volume of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, or as I prefer to call it GX, is the third volume of season one, not the third season. I think some people were mixing up the volume number with the actual season. So far, Cartoon Network has shown both the first and second seasons on their line-up and they're currently airing the third season every Saturday. By the way, each season has 52 episodes. I just wanted to clear that up.As for the episodes themselves, I personally think most of the episodes in this volume are actually better than some of the other episodes later on in the season. I've seen the whole first season on Cartoon Network when they first aired it and the begining was pretty good. The episodes and duels later on focus too much on the main character, Jaden, for my tastes and most everyone else doesn't do much of anything for a long time. Season 2 Baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello. Recently I reviewed Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Season 1 (Welcome to Duel Academy) and once again TMNT lead me to GX, only this time Season 2.Picture it: At the store again, picking up TMNT Fast Forward (an extremly good series, far better then the orinigal)when I see a new YGO GX DVD! I extremly do a backflip. Then I ran to my mommy and she said only choose one. I then flipped her and stole her pocket book. I then ran to the cashier and quickly purcahsed them. My mom followed.Then I took two subway sandwhiches and ate them. After seeing this, my mommy realized why I flipped her and I gave her the picket book back.I guess this Seasons are short like Teen Titans and The Bataman. So is the series still running? Since I now have cable but still havn't seen this on Cartoon Network I guess this is just a direct to DVD release of Season 2.Now Season 2 (Tag Team Trial) is based in the same year as Season 1, about right after the episodes when Panik...

Honestly, the best....
this game is fantastic. it takes what the first game had and updates it dramatically. adds minigames instead of going to school, makes the game a lot more fun, and makes time actually go by. on top of all that you now have the god cards and an affordable way to play this TCG. highly recommended as the best card game on a handheld i have ever played, even better than eye of judgment.note: the graphics are cleaned up a bit, and the overall pace of the game is extremely well done. you play with a partner the entire time and can choose to duel, let them duel, or tag duel.

Awesome game just wish it had online play but i hope the next one will you now have a partner with you in this game you can chose to tag duel or duel by yourself nice graphics and also tag duels with your friends as long as the have a psp none of my friends like yu-gi-oh lost of cards up to season 3 on the tv showThey also got a YU-GI-OH game coming for the ps2 which is called YU-GI-OH the beginning of destiny

Better then the original
First it provides a greater number of opponents to duel. Also you get to tag duel right from the start and don't have spend hours getting someone to like you enough to agree to be your partner. And the greater variety of cards is a bonus for people who like to build multiple decks. The only problem is that to get the best deck packs you have to be level 45, which can take a while.

The ultimate YGO game!
Over 4600 cards! The gameplay and graphics are awesome. There is over 400 hours of gameplay in this game! It basically never ends! The music and animations are also great. It has just about every card imaginable in it. Be sure to pick this up, this is easily the swan song YGO game of the PSP.

Good but a few minor problems
This game is a lot of fun. With its thousands of cards and numerous computer players this game allows for very complex and interesting card-play. There are a few bugs. For one it sometimes takes the computer player an unusually long time to make a move. I have literally seen it go two minutes only to end its turn without doing anything. The second bug is that sometimes a secondary effect won't activate. I have seen this with two cards. The first was Scrap Iron Scarecrow where after it activated it went to the graveyard instead of turning back face down. The second was with Stardust Dragon where I had activated its effect but at the end of the turn it didn't give me the option to special summon it back from the graveyard.

Yugioh 5ds review
I think tag force is brilliant It dose surprise me that you cant use monster reborn but its in the game. Otherwise the graphics are dead on and the game play is something to behold. I like how the first code that I put in worked right away. Though I did have to down load from the net in order to get the latest installment. So thumbs up for tag battle and the tournament play. Over all a great game.
